A one-time MediSave Bonus will be provided to all adult Singaporeans between the ages 21 and 50 (born in 1974 – 2003), to assist offset healthcare costs and increase medical savings for old age. In December 2024 Eligible Singaporeans are going to receive a maximum of $500 from MediSave Bonus automatically.
One-Time MediSave Bonus 2024
This includes additional cash payments that will be provided to eligible adult Singaporeans every December from 2022 to 2026. In 2024, Singaporeans who were born between 1974 to 2003 (inclusive) will receive a one-time MediSave Bonus to assist offset healthcare expenses and build up medical savings for old age.
Singaporeans who were born in 1973 or earlier will get a MediSave Bonus and Retirement Bonus under the Majulah Package. Because of the enhancement in the MediSave Bonus in October 2024, the lifetime cost of the Majulah Package also increased from $8.2 billion to $9 billion. The MediSave Bonus 2024 will assist with the healthcare costs of more than three million Singaporeans.
What will you get from the One-Time MediSave Bonus in 2024?
The exact MediSave bonus payment depends on individual circumstances. But more than 1.4 million Singaporeans who were born between 1974 and 2003 (inclusive) are expected to receive a one-time MediSave top-up of $300 to $500 in December 2024.
On the other hand, the MediSave Bonus payment 2024 under the Majulah Package will be provided to more than 1.6 million Singaporeans who were born in 1973 or earlier. They will receive a one-time MediSave top-up of $1,250 or $2,000 in December 2024. The range of benefits that adult Singaporeans can expect to receive in December 2024 is listed in the table below.

Who is eligible for the One-Time MediSave Bonus 2024?

If your circumstances change, such as your bank account, mailing address, or phone number, it is very important for you to update the necessary personal details by contacting officials before the distribution process in December 2024. Sometimes, just because of changes in individuals’ circumstances, unexpected delays occur in one-time Medisave bonus payout dates.
When will you receive the One-Time MediSave Bonus 2024?
The One-Time MediSave Bonus is provided to eligible individuals every year. Officials have not disclosed the exact payout date. However, it is expected that 2024, all eligible individuals will receive their Medisave bonus payment in December 2024.
If you will not get your Medisave bonus payment before the end of December then it is advised to please contact the officials by calling the hotline at 1800-2222-888. The payout amount will be provided to you in a CPF Medisave Account. The MediSave Bonus 2024 that is credited into your CPF MediSave Account will form part of your CPF monies and will be subjected to CPF withdrawal rules.
MediSave Bonus payment can be utilized to pay for individuals own or their immediate family members’ hospitalization costs or expenses, incurred at any of the participating medical institutions under the MediSave Scheme. MediSave Bonus payment can also be used to cover the cost of surgeries and approved outpatient treatments.
