She added: “Through the Parliamentary Ombudsman’s report, affected women have been declared innocent so the parliament must provide payments to all affected women, yet months on we are waiting to receive an official response from the Labour Party.

Whereas the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Ed Davey, said to ministers to “urgently implement the final findings of the Parliamentary Ombudsman’s report without any type of delay”.
